Tulip First Nine

Operational maintenance and cultivation

The First Name Triumph tulip is a reliable choice for professional growers looking for consistency. Its operational profile is defined by stability: with medium stem height and optimized flowering cycles, this hybrid does not require complex environmental adjustments. A robust root system ensures minimal losses during standard cultivation cycles.

Disease resistance and protection

A key operational advantage is its high natural resistance. In both greenhouse and open-field settings, the variety shows strong resistance to Verticillium and Fusarium. This significantly reduces fungicide expenditures and prevents the mass corm loss that often impacts the bottom line of commercial operations.

Consistency in production

The vibrant yellow color of the petals remains stable during transport and post-harvest storage, making First Name a high-value asset for the cut flower market. The medium-height, sturdy stems hold the buds firmly, eliminating the need for additional support structures or packing stabilizers. This results in a uniform product flow that requires minimal sorting and handling.
