Tulip Nagano

Professional choice: Why 'Nagano' delivers consistent results

The 'Nagano' Triumph tulip is an essential asset for commercial greenhouses. It is engineered for predictability, combining a vibrant yellow hue with a robust health profile. For growers managing large-scale forcing cycles, this variety minimizes the uncertainty often associated with bulb production.

Proven disease resistance

Pathogen management is the cornerstone of profitable tulip production. 'Nagano' stands out due to its genetic resistance to common field and greenhouse diseases, which significantly reduces the need for intensive chemical interventions:

• Root and vascular protection: High resistance to Verticillium wilt and Fusarium wilt, ensuring healthy bulb development and plant vitality.
• Infection control: Proven resilience against Tomato mosaic virus and Cladosporium, allowing for secure crop rotation and mixed-use facility management.

Operational benefits for your farm

Choosing 'Nagano' is a strategic decision for mid-season harvest planning. Its reliable medium-term flowering schedule allows for precise labor allocation during the peak cutting window. The variety features an ideal stem height, providing the structural integrity required for high-quality, commercial-grade bouquets. By mitigating the risks of decay and disease-related losses, 'Nagano' ensures that a larger percentage of your crop reaches the market in prime condition, maximizing the return on investment for your greenhouse facility.
