Tulip Ad Rem

Genetic Potential and Morphology

The 'Ad Rem' tulip belongs to the Darwin Hybrid class, which determines its primary operational characteristics. A tall peduncle combined with a robust root system allows the plant to demonstrate exceptional stability under field conditions. The core value of this hybrid lies in its vigor: the breeding-in of immunity to a complex of pathogens significantly reduces agrotechnical stress.

Phytopathological Resistance

Technically, the variety is engineered to minimize risks in commercial cultivation. Due to pronounced resistance to Fusarium basal rot and Fusarium wilt, 'Ad Rem' successfully navigates critical vegetative phases even in high-moisture soil conditions. Its resistance to Alternaria and Anthracnose ensures the foliage remains intact through the end of the flowering period, which is vital for proper nutrient storage in the bulb prior to summer harvest.

Agronomic Flowering Parameters

• Biological Cycle: Mid-season flowering group.
• Coloration: Unique petal color, blending deep red and lilac hues with a distinctive iridescence.
• Status: Tall-growing type, requiring consideration for wind protection planning.

This hybrid stands as a benchmark of reliability for commercial forcing and landscape design, where predictable plant development is required without the necessity for constant fungicidal intervention.
