Chrysanthemum Autumn rendezvous

Genetic Profile and Morphology

"Osinne Randevu" (Autumn Rendezvous), developed by the M.M. Gryshko National Botanical Garden, represents a specialized breeding achievement in compact chrysanthemum varieties. The plant is genetically predetermined to reach a maximum height of 30 cm, eliminating the need for growth regulators to maintain its architectural integrity. The pompon-type inflorescence offers high petal density, which enhances the flower's resilience against mechanical stress and moisture, common during the autumn season.

Technical Performance Metrics

• Flowering Cycle: Spans from September to October. This extended window is achieved through a sequence of bud development, ensuring a long-lasting display of color.
• Bloom Size: Mid-sized (5–10 cm), providing an optimal weight-to-stem ratio for stability.
• Pigmentation: A vibrant orange hue, maintaining color consistency across different environmental light levels.

Practical Application and Cultivation

The biological characteristics of this cultivar allow for high performance in both open ground and container environments. The root system is adapted to restricted soil volumes, making it an excellent choice for pots or planters. The plant exhibits robust establishment capabilities across the spring, summer, and autumn planting seasons, offering significant flexibility for landscape design. To maximize structural density, maintain consistent spacing, which promotes healthy airflow within the foliage and prevents the development of pathogens at the crown level.
