Zenit Odeskyi triticale is a high-yielding triticale variety developed in Odessa and belonging to the erythrospermum type. This wheat-rye hybrid is suitable for cultivation in all soil-climatic zones, primarily for producing fodder grain used in compound feed industry. Over five years of variety trials, the average yield of Zenit Odeskyi grain reached 65.5 centners per hectare, significantly exceeding standard varieties and demonstrating high resistance and yield stability.
Zenit Odeskyi triticale grain contains higher protein levels — 1-1.5% more than wheat — enhancing its nutritional value. Overall, triticale is characterized by high protein content (10-28%), lysine and other essential amino acids, as well as a rich mineral composition including copper, phosphorus, potassium, magnesium, calcium, sodium, zinc, manganese, and iron.
