Yuryev of NAAN and registered in the State Register of Varieties of Ukraine in 2019. This variety belongs to the medium-maturing group with a vegetation period of 90–98 days and has an average plant height of 95–105 cm. It is characterized by increased resistance to lodging, shattering, and sprouting, as well as cold and drought tolerance, making it suitable for cultivation in various climatic zones of Ukraine, including the Steppe, Forest-Steppe, and Polissia. The grain is light-brown, large, with a 1000-grain weight of approximately 40.9 g and a grain density of 751 g/l. The protein content in the grain is 12.5%, and starch content is 63.4%. The variety has high baking and mixing properties of flour, with raw gluten content of 22.5%. The loaf volume from 100 g of flour reaches 510 ml, indicating high product quality. The overall bread-making score of the variety is 8–9 points. Bulat Kharkivskyi demonstrates stable yield with a potential of up to 9 t/ha and an average yield of approximately 4.45 t/ha, confirmed by multi-year research. The variety also exhibits increased resistance to major leaf diseases, particularly rusts, reducing the need for fungicides and insecticides. The Laboratory of Triticale Selection and Genetics continues scientific support for the cultivation of this variety, contributing to improved efficiency of agricultural enterprises.
