Triticale Tandem

Stability and Yield Potential

The winter triticale "Tandem," developed by the Mironivka Institute of Wheat, is engineered for those who prioritize reliability and predictability in their crop rotation. This variety is known for its extreme resilience; it exhibits exceptional resistance to lodging and high winter hardiness, which is essential for surviving erratic seasonal shifts.

Operational Efficiency

From an operator's perspective, "Tandem" is a low-maintenance, high-performance asset. The variety features a robust tillering capacity, allowing it to effectively recover and close gaps in the field during the spring season without requiring additional remedial seeding or intensive root stimulation. It is remarkably forgiving regarding sowing schedules, maintaining consistent development even under moderate moisture stress.

Economic Advantages in Production

• Fungicide Savings: Its natural genetic resistance to common spike diseases reduces the need for frequent chemical intervention, lowering your total cost per hectare.
• Harvest Comfort: The structural integrity of the stem minimizes lodging, enabling smoother combine operation at higher speeds with significantly reduced harvest losses.
• Grain Quality: High protein content ensures a premium product that is equally suited for the feed industry and human consumption markets.

When incorporating "Tandem" into your program, you are investing in a predictable outcome. The variety demonstrates a high conversion rate of inputs into grain yield, ensuring that your fertilizer investment results in actual harvest volume rather than excessive vegetative biomass.
