The Ukrainian tomato is a tall variety with a robust plant reaching heights of 1.5 to 2 meters. The plants are shaped into a single stem with mandatory pinching and pruning for optimal growth. The plants exhibit good drought resistance and can bear fruit until frost, making this variety reliable for cultivation in various climatic conditions.

The fruits of the Ukrainian tomato have a flat-round shape and a vibrant red or dark pink color with a glossy skin. They are large: the weight of a single fruit varies from 250 to 700 grams, with individual specimens reaching up to 1 kilogram. The flesh is juicy, dense, and has an exquisite sweet flavor, making them ideal for fresh consumption, especially in salads. Additionally, the fruits keep well for a long time after harvest.

The ripening period of this variety varies from mid-early to mid-season — 85 to 120 days depending on growing conditions. It is recommended to grow the Ukrainian tomato using seedlings or direct sowing in open ground starting from early March. For seedlings, seeds are sown at a depth of 1-1.5 cm into nutrient-rich pots or peat tablets, then grown for 50-60 days before transplanting to rows. The variety is versatile in use, heat-resistant, and has moderate resistance to diseases such as macrosporiosis, phytophthora, and black mold.
