Tomato Fastivskiy 1

A Reliable Choice for Commercial Tomato Production

Developed by the Kyiv Research Station of the UAAS, the "Fastivskyi 1" tomato variety is designed for agricultural enterprises focused on predictable yields and logistical efficiency. Its determinate growth habit creates a compact plant, significantly reducing the labor involved in cultivation and routine agricultural maintenance.

Practical Scenarios for Farmers

• Large-scale Cultivation: With a yield potential of 70-100 tons per hectare, this variety is a commercially viable choice for farms supplying raw materials to the processing industry.
• Logistics and Distribution: The firm, round fruits, weighing 80-100 grams, exhibit excellent transportability. This durability ensures that the product maintains its marketability even during long-distance transportation to wholesale hubs.
• Processing Quality: The consistent size and shape make these tomatoes ideal for whole-fruit canning and commercial pickling operations.

With a vegetation period of 100-120 days, the "Fastivskyi 1" allows farmers to effectively plan their harvesting schedule. The variety demonstrates high adaptability to Ukrainian climatic conditions, providing a stable return on investment even with moderate agricultural inputs. By choosing this seed material, growers gain a robust variety that eliminates the need for intensive trellising, effectively lowering the cost per unit of output.
