Tomato Grandessa

Tomato Grandessa is a mid-early determinate variety with a compact plant up to 60 cm tall, making it suitable for cultivation both in open ground and under plastic coverings. The plant is resistant to several diseases, but requires protection against phytophthora, white and gray rot. The crop is low-maintenance in terms of agronomy, but needs regular watering and quality fertilization for stable fruiting throughout the season.

The fruits of tomato Grandessa have round or plum-shaped forms, weighing from 90 to 220 grams depending on growing conditions. They feature dense, juicy flesh with a thin skin, ensuring good transportability and long-term storage without loss of appearance. Fruit color ranges from bright red to pink-magenta, and the taste is sweet with a slight acidity, making them suitable for fresh consumption, as well as for canning and processing.

Technical maturity is reached 95–125 days after sowing or transplanting seedlings, allowing early harvest. Plants form up to 10 fruiting clusters with 5–6 fruits each, ensuring a stable and abundant yield. Due to its characteristics, the Grandessa variety is suitable for cultivation in various climatic conditions and regions, providing high-quality, marketable tomatoes.
