Tomato TRETYAKOVSKY

Stability and Heavy Yields

Working with the Tretyakovsky indeterminate tomato variety from Geterozisnaya Selektsiya proves that it is a choice for growers who refuse to compromise between fruit size and shelf life. The plant is vigorous and requires proper training and pruning into a single stem. Since it grows tall and heavy, installing a reliable trellis system is a critical maintenance step that prevents stem damage and yield losses.

Natural Resistance in Greenhouse Conditions

The main advantage of Tretyakovsky is its robust immune system. In environments prone to tobacco mosaic virus, leaf mold (cladosporiosis), and various rots, this variety stands its ground with minimal chemical intervention. Its resistance to blossom-end rot and late blight significantly reduces the need for fungicides. This simplifies the workflow, lowers operational costs, and ensures a cleaner, healthier crop.

Logistics and Market Appeal

With fruits weighing over 200 grams, this variety offers a uniform flat-round shape and a deep red color. For those involved in handling and distribution, the fruit's firmness is a major benefit; the tomatoes withstand transportation well and do not crack easily. Furthermore, the storage capacity of up to 30 days provides flexibility in sales, allowing growers to hold off for better market prices without sacrificing product quality.
