Ultra-early tomato hybrid with high fruit set and uniformity
Orpheus F1 — Ultra-early tomato hybrid. From full seedlings to fruit ripening takes 80-85 days. The Orpheus F1 tomato plant is determinate, moderately leafy, 50-60 cm tall. Inflorescence is simple with 5-6 fruits. Fruits of the early Orpheus F1 tomato are large, dense, flat-round in shape, smooth, bright red, without green spot at the stem attachment, weighing 120-130 g. Yield in open ground is 80-100 t/ha, 12-15 kg/m² in plastic coverings. Planting scheme depends on irrigation method and soil type. On drip irrigation, the scheme is 120+60 X 30 cm. The number of plants under this planting scheme is 33,500 per hectare. For other irrigation methods, the scheme with row spacing of 70 cm, or 90+50 cm, is recommended. We recommend growing the ultra-early tomato hybrid Orpheus F1 through seedlings (cassette method — sowing seeds in trays).
