Tomato LIRA F1

Stable yields in early terms

The Lira F1 tomato from the Ukrainian breeding company Nasko is a proven solution for farmers who prioritize predictability and market appeal. Over the years, this determinate hybrid has established a reputation as a reliable workhorse, combining early maturity with high resistance to a wide range of pathogens.

Agronomic potential and protection

The main feature of Lira F1 is its comprehensive immunity. Nasko breeders have paid special attention to protection against diseases that most often threaten open-field yields: early blight, fusarium, bacterial spot, and viral mosaics. Resistance to Tobacco Mosaic Virus (TMV) allows for cultivation in regions with high infection pressure without the risk of premature crop loss.

Crop characteristics

• Ripening time: up to 90 days, an excellent indicator for fast crop turnover;
• Fruit weight: 100–150 g, the "gold standard" for the fresh market;
• Shape and color: classic round shape and rich red color, highly attractive to consumers;
• Firmness: the fruits withstand transportation well, which is vital for farmers serving distant markets.

The recommended planting density is 30,000–35,000 plants per hectare. Maintaining this density allows the plant to form a robust bush that efficiently delivers its harvest in a concentrated timeframe. It is the optimal choice for those looking to distribute produce through both retail chains and individual markets, where visual quality and shelf life are critical.
