Tomato Yana

Agronomic characteristics and yield potential of the "Yana" hybrid

The "Yana" tomato from the selection company Nasko is a determinate variety focused on achieving stable early yields in open field conditions. The main technical value of this hybrid lies in its balanced physiological development: the plant reaches maturity within 90 days, making it an optimal solution for conveyor-style production of marketable produce.

Fruit technical parameters and logistics

For the farmer, the key factor is not just the vegetation period but the marketability of the fruit. "Yana" produces round tomatoes weighing 80–100 grams, characterized by high pulp density. These features ensure excellent transportability, which is critical when selling through retail chains, where fruit integrity determines final margins. The red color of the fruit is a classic industry standard, highly sought after in the fresh produce market.

Density recommendations

The cultivation technology involves using high-quality seed material, considering the determinate growth type. The recommended planting density is 35,000–40,000 plants per hectare. Adherence to this parameter ensures optimal light exposure for the bush, the necessary level of ventilation to prevent fungal diseases, and uniform ripening across the field. Utilizing Nasko seeds guarantees line purity and predictable crop development when agronomic practices are followed.
