Early tomato variety with high yield and transportability
Yana — Super early variety, with simultaneous ripening, from mass seedlings to the beginning of ripening (when grown by seedling method) 80-90 days. The Yana variety plant is determinate. Does not require pinching. Main stem height 40-60 cm. Fruits of the super early Yana variety are round, smooth, bright red, without green spot at the stem attachment, firm, resistant to cracking under any weather conditions, have excellent transportability, firm on the plant and during storage, weighing 80-90 g. Flavor qualities of the fruits are good. Yield of the super early Yana variety — 80-100 t/ha. Disease resistant. The Yana tomato variety can be grown both by seedling (most common cassette seedling method — sowing seeds in cassettes of a certain diameter) and without seedling methods. For obtaining an earlier harvest of Yana tomato, 60-65-day-old seedlings are used. Planting scheme depends on soil type and irrigation method. On drip irrigation, the scheme 120+60 X 33 cm (distance between drip tubes 1.8 m, row width — 60 cm) is applied, number of plants per hectare is 33,700. When grown by the 70 X 30 cm scheme, the number of Yana tomato plants per hectare is 47,500.
