Tomato NASKO-2000

Field Performance of the NASKO-2000 Tomato

When working with the NASKO-2000 variety from Nasko, growers gain a predictable outcome, which is essential for commercial vegetable production. This is a determinate tomato that requires minimal pruning, significantly reducing labor intensity during the season. Its compact bush structure allows for high-density planting while ensuring a stable yield.

Disease Resistance and Field Hardiness

Dealing with viral and fungal pathogens is a constant challenge in field tomato production. NASKO-2000 demonstrates strong genetic resistance to tomato mosaic virus and alternaria. In practical terms, this means fewer fungicide applications and a lower risk of losing crops due to mid-season disease outbreaks.

Harvest, Logistics, and Marketability

The fruits feature a classic plum shape with an average weight of 80–100 grams, making them ideal for both canning and the fresh produce market. A significant advantage for supply chains is the fruit density: these tomatoes withstand long-distance transport well and retain their marketability for 20–30 days post-harvest.

• Maturity: 100–120 days.
• Yield Potential: 100–130 tons per hectare.
• Key Benefits: Disease resistance, excellent shelf life, high transportability.

If you are looking for a reliable, low-maintenance variety for mass production, this tomato variety offers the right balance of productivity and market-ready fruit quality.
