Table Beet BRIDGET

Technological potential of Bridget beetroot

Dutch breeding from Wing Seed offers professional farms the Bridget hybrid — a tool for stable commercial yield in the mid-late beetroot segment. A growing period of 110–120 days allows for precise planning of sowing campaigns to maximize the output of high-grade roots.

Root architecture and flesh quality

The core strength of Bridget is its complete internal homogeneity. The absence of radial rings and high intensity of dark red pigment make this hybrid a benchmark for industrial processing. The round shape of the root minimizes waste during mechanical peeling, which is critical for processing lines.

• Storage life: Genetic resistance to field diseases, including Alternaria and Cercospora, ensures crop integrity during long-term storage.
• Versatility: The hybrid performs exceptionally well both in bunch production and in the long-term storage and deep processing segments.
• Adaptability: High stress resistance, engineered by Wing Seed breeders, ensures uniform emergence and consistent root size even under fluctuating weather conditions.

By investing in Bridget seeds, agricultural enterprises achieve predictable results: the commercial appearance is maintained throughout the entire storage period, and the flesh quality meets the high standards of food production facilities.
