BRIDGET

The table beet BRIDGET is a high-yielding mid-season hybrid of Dutch selection, developed by Bejo Zaden. The vegetation period is about 115 days, which allows growing the crop both in spring and late autumn due to excellent cold tolerance. The hybrid demonstrates active development at moderate soil moisture and is distinguished by high yield with a potential of 6-8 kg per square meter.

BRIDGET beet roots have an oval shape, uniform and smooth, with dark red skin and ringless flesh, ensuring high product quality. Thanks to the firm attachment of foliage to the fruit, harvesting machinery can be used effectively, which facilitates the harvesting process. The beet has good resistance to bolting, sharp temperature fluctuations, as well as to diseases such as Cercospora and Alternaria.

This hybrid is suitable for various methods of use: from preparing dishes and canning to freezing and sugar processing.
