Table Beet Harmony

The «Detroit» Standard with Flawless Texture

The «Garmoniya» table beet is a selective choice for those prioritizing the visual marketability of the root crop. Developed by the Federal Research Center for Vegetable Growing, this variety is tailored for regional climatic conditions while retaining the classic features of the «Detroit» type.

Why choose this variety?

• No internal rings: The main advantage of «Garmoniya» is its deep dark-red flesh without visible light rings. In culinary terms, this is highly valued by chefs: the uniform color is maintained even after thermal processing.
• Perfect geometry: The rounded shape of the root minimizes waste during peeling, and the size meets commercial standards.
• Stability: The originator ensures high line purity, guaranteeing uniform germination and consistent crop quality.

Pros and Cons

The main advantage is predictability. «Garmoniya» does not present surprises like «striped» flesh, which often happens with less stable hybrids. It is responsive to quality irrigation and fertile soil. On the downside, it requires strict adherence to agricultural practices: like most «Detroit» types, it demands timely thinning; otherwise, the risk of getting small or deformed roots increases.

Who is this choice for?

This variety is optimal for small-scale farmers and home gardeners. It is favored by those who need a reliable, "workhorse" variety for storage and processing. If you are looking for a stable result with minimal hassle during preparation (thanks to the absence of rings), «Garmoniya» will be a solid ally in your garden.
