Description Mirage
Chard «Mirage» – mid-season variety with a semi-erect to upright rosette, 40–60 cm in height. Leaves are light green, medium-sized, slightly blistered and glossy, with curved edges; their tissue is juicy and crunchy, making the product particularly pleasant in fresh salads.

Plant petioles reach a length of 22–25 cm, light green in color, of medium width. With regular leaf cutting, the plant quickly develops new shoots, and the mass of the productive part per season is about 900–970 g. Young leaves and petioles can be consumed both fresh and after culinary processing; on mature plants, it is preferable to boil or steam them.

«Mirage» is characterized by high cold hardiness and resistance to bolting, ensuring stable growth even under unfavorable weather conditions. The variety is rich in vitamins C, B1, B2, carotene, as well as proteins and minerals that support the cardiovascular system, help prevent sclerosis, and improve memory. Due to these properties, chard is widely used in preparing beetroot salads, green borscht, salads, and pickling.
