Swiss Chard RED FAN

Chard «Red Fan» is a mid-season variety that grows quickly and is ready for harvest just 60‑65 days after sowing. The leaves have an elongated-oval shape, dark green in color with a characteristic bubbly surface, while the petioles are colored in a purple hue, giving dishes a bright visual accent.

The variety is characterized by relative cold hardiness and low soil requirements, making it easy to grow both in open ground and in greenhouses. Thanks to its rich content of vitamins C, B1, B2, PP, carotene, mineral salts, proteins and sugars, «Red Fan» becomes a valuable addition to a healthy diet.

In cooking, juicy leaves and petioles are used, which do not become tough during harvest. They are perfectly suitable for making salads, soups, sides, and other dishes, adding a fresh taste and rich color. Regular cutting promotes rapid growth and maintains yield throughout the season.
