Sweet Corn Forvard Spark

Field Performance and Adaptability

The hybrid "Forward Spark" (F1), registered in 2026, demonstrates a balanced morphotype focused on early maturity. In the field, the plant exhibits medium height, with the ear attachment point positioned low, which significantly reduces the risk of lodging even under strong wind conditions. The slight zigzagging of the stem and moderate flexibility contribute to better resistance against mechanical stress.

Response to Stress Factors

The intense green color of the leaves, combined with strong leaf margin waviness, indicates active photosynthetic processes. The narrow leaf blade and its strongly drooping position in space are evolutionary adaptations that allow the plant to regulate transpiration efficiently. This morphology helps the hybrid maintain productivity under moisture deficit conditions, minimizing water loss during hot periods. Early flowering of the tassel and silk emergence allow "Forward Spark" to avoid peak summer temperatures, which is critical for proper ear development.

Developmental Features

The absence of significant anthocyanin coloration on most vegetative organs indicates high physiological stability of the hybrid. The dense arrangement of spikelets on the tassel ensures high-quality pollination, while the short ear shank provides secure fixation. This hybrid from "SPARK SEEDS" is optimally suited for regions with short growing seasons or for producing ultra-early market crops, where grain filling speed is essential without compromising quality during temperature fluctuations.
