Sweet Corn Vait Tuz

Agronomy and Cultivation of the «White Tuz» Hybrid

«White Tuz» is a 2026 registered sweet corn hybrid from «SPARK SEEDS» LLC. Designed for early maturity, this F1 hybrid combines rapid development with structural stability, making it a reliable choice for commercial production.

Growth Characteristics and Management

The plant exhibits a vigorous vegetative stage, characterized by intense green, wavy leaves. A key agronomic advantage is the very low ear placement relative to the total plant height, which significantly reduces the risk of lodging and simplifies mechanical harvesting.

• Sowing and Soil Requirements: Planting should commence once soil temperatures reach +10-12°C. Given its early flowering trait, timely sowing is essential to avoid cold stress during the initial emergence phase.
• Planting Density: With a medium leaf width and a semi-erect leaf orientation, the hybrid requires a balanced spacing strategy. A standard 70 cm row spacing with 20-25 cm between plants is recommended to ensure optimal light penetration and airflow.
• Irrigation and Care: During the stem elongation phase, consistent moisture is vital. Although the aerial roots show minimal anthocyanin coloration, hilling is recommended to support the plant's structural integrity. The short lateral branches of the tassel allow the plant to focus energy on ear development rather than excessive vegetative growth.

The early silk emergence and compact tassel structure ensure that «White Tuz» efficiently transitions into the reproductive phase, providing a uniform and high-quality harvest for the early market.
