Vidoc sunflower is a high-oleic hybrid with high resistance to various weed species, making it especially suitable for cultivation in the Forest-Steppe, as well as Northern and Central Steppes. Thanks to the Clearfield Plus technology and the possibility of using the herbicide Evolightning Plus, the hybrid provides reliable protection against weeds, contributing to a stable and high yield. Vidoc belongs to the moderately intensive type with a medium maturity period, allowing optimal combination of harvest timing and product quality.
The hybrid is characterized by high yield potential and stable performance, with oil content at the level of 47-50%. It has general resistance to main sunflower diseases, such as white mold, fomoz, and fomopsis, at the level of 8 points, significantly reducing the risk of yield losses. High adaptability to dry conditions and resistance to weeds ensure reliable cultivation even in challenging agroclimatic zones.
The crop reaches a height of about 155-170 cm, with a slender convex head of 22-26 cm diameter, facilitating harvesting and processing. Oil content in seeds is 48-50%, and protein content is 16-18%, making Vidoc attractive for producing high-quality oil and feed purposes. This combination of characteristics makes the Vidoc hybrid a profitable choice for farmers aiming to achieve high and stable sunflower yields with improved agronomic performance.
