Warrior

The hybrid sunflower 'Warrior' is a mid-early variety adapted for sowing in the Steppe and Forest-Steppe zones of Ukraine. It is characterized by high adaptability to various soil-climatic conditions, ensuring rapid early growth and stable high yields. Its yield potential reaches 50 centners per hectare, making it attractive for farmers seeking maximum output from their crops.

One of the key features of the 'Warrior' hybrid is its high resistance to diseases and pests. It exhibits resistance to 6-7 races of downy mildew (A-G), as well as to diseases such as fusarium, fusarium wilt, false powdery mildew, gray and white rot. This protection significantly reduces crop losses and lowers expenses for plant protection. The seeds of this hybrid contain 47-53% oil, making them valuable raw material for both food industry and animal feed.

To grow the 'Warrior' hybrid, it is recommended to use technologies compatible with Clearfield® and Evrolightning systems, which allow effective weed control using soil-applied herbicides. An important aspect of agronomy is proper fertilizer application and pest control, which contributes to improving the quality and quantity of the harvest. This comprehensive approach ensures the stability and high productivity of the hybrid under various conditions.
