Sunflower Voronoy is a hybrid of French selection, developed using Clearfield technology and intended for cultivation under the herbicide Evrolighting. This simple hybrid belongs to the mid-maturing group, with a vegetative period of 100 to 105 days and a time from emergence to flowering of about 58 days. Plants reach a height of 150-170 cm, and the flower head has a flat, slightly inclined shape with a diameter of 21-22 cm. The oil content of the seeds is 47-49%, with a protein content of 20-22%. The hybrid Voronoy is characterized by high resistance to downy mildew (wolf) up to 5 levels, as well as to common sunflower diseases such as Phomopsis, white and gray mold, sclerotinia, rust, and powdery mildew. Thanks to these characteristics, the plant exhibits good disease resistance and stress tolerance, ensuring stable yields even under adverse conditions. Sunflower Voronoy is suitable for cultivation in all climatic zones of Ukraine. It demonstrates high initial growth vigor and can produce good yields under drought conditions as well as in areas with moderate moisture levels. The average yield of the hybrid is about 35 centners per hectare, while the potential yield can reach 50 centners per hectare, making it a profitable choice for agricultural production.
