MAS 92 KP is a high-yielding linoleic-type sunflower hybrid with a medium-early maturity period, featuring a vegetative cycle ranging from 105 to 118 days depending on growing conditions. The plant is characterized by its tall stature and a robust, massive root system, with good foliage coverage. The hybrid's head is medium-sized, strongly convex, and tilted downwards, facilitating efficient yield formation. The weight of 1,000 seeds varies from 53 to 59 grams, while oil content reaches 46–52%, enabling oil production of 1,480 to 1,790 kg per hectare. Additionally, protein content is approximately 16.2–17%. The MAS 92 KP hybrid was specifically developed for the Clearfield Plus technology, which utilizes the herbicide Euro-Lighting Plus to effectively combat parasitic weeds of the dodder species (varieties A–E). Consequently, the hybrid exhibits high herbicide tolerance and resistance to dodder, significantly simplifying agronomic practices and enhancing yield stability. MAS 92 KP demonstrates exceptional plasticity and adaptability to various soil and climate conditions, allowing for successful cultivation in Forest-Steppe and Steppe zones. The hybrid possesses high resistance to major sunflower diseases, including phoma, phomopsis, downy mildew (RM9), as well as sclerotinia of the head and stem. Furthermore, the sunflower shows good resistance to lodging and high drought tolerance, making it a reliable choice for cultivation under challenging weather conditions. MAS 92 KP is a yield leader among hybrids of its class and is recommended for use in Clearfield Plus production systems, ensuring stable and high yields under any climatic conditions.
