The ES Bambina sunflower hybrid is a mid-season variety intended for cultivation in the Central Chernozem, North Caucasus, and Middle Volga regions. The plant features medium-sized, dark green leaves with slight blistering and large serrations. The flowers are ligulate, yellow, and narrowly egg-shaped, with tubular yellow flowers. The flower head is medium-sized, semi-downward-facing, and located on a straight stem. The seeds have medium size, narrowly egg-shaped form, and black base coloration. Average seed yield in the aforementioned regions ranges from 15.3 to 27.4 c/ha, with oil content in seeds reaching 47.3–50.5%. ES Bambina belongs to the linoleic hybrids of the company Euralis Semences and is distinguished by high productivity and stress resistance. The hybrid exhibits resistance to the A–G races of downy mildew, which is an important advantage for crop protection. Additionally, it demonstrates good tolerance to diseases such as sclerotinia, fomopsis, and fomosis, contributing to harvest stability and quality. Early and robust development during early growth stages ensures reliable root establishment and plant formation. The period from emergence to flowering is approximately 70 days, and to harvest — about 105 days, allowing the hybrid to successfully fit into regional agronomic schedules. Oil content in seeds reaches up to 50%, and the potential yield is estimated at 43–47 c/ha, making ES Bambina a profitable choice for producers focused on high-quality and quantity oilseed production.
