Description FT 220
FT 220 is a high-yielding sunflower hybrid of mid-early maturity group, intended for intensive farming. It is characterized by a vegetation period of about 112-115 days and possesses enhanced tolerance to herbicides with the active substance tribenuron-methyl, which allows for effective control of a wide range of weeds with a single application at a dosage of 50 g/h+. The hybrid seeds are treated with a fungicide, providing additional protection against diseases and contributing to stable yield at the level of 55-60 c/h+.

The FT 220 hybrid is characterized by tolerance to various sunflower diseases, including phomopsis, phoma, white mold, and resistance to the 'stem borers' parasite, strain A-G++. High oil content in the seeds, reaching 48-52%, as well as a significant amount of protein (16-18%) make this hybrid attractive for the production of high-quality sunflower oil. Seeds are packed in bags calculated for sowing from 2 to 5 hectares, which is convenient for farmers.

It is recommended to grow FT 220 in regions with moderate humidity levels, avoiding extremely arid conditions. The hybrid is well adapted to modern cultivation technologies, including systems using imidazolinone herbicides and the 'Clean Field' technology. Due to its agronomic characteristics and stress tolerance, FT 220 is a reliable choice for obtaining a high and stable sunflower yield.
