Sillouet sunflower is a medium-early hybrid with an ultraprecoce maturity period, suitable for cultivation on various soil types. The vegetative period ranges from 95 to 100 days, and the days from emergence to flowering are 58. Plants reach a height of 160–165 cm, featuring a flat flower head with a diameter of 28–34 cm and a semi-leaning inclination. Seed oil content is 20–22%, and oil content reaches 51–52%, making this hybrid attractive for oil production. The hybrid exhibits high resistance to major sunflower diseases such as Phomopsis, Phomosis, Sclerotinia, blister disease, and Rasamahaha. Additionally, Sillouet is resistant to stress conditions including drought, ensuring stable yields under adverse climatic conditions. Plants possess a robust root system capable of utilizing moisture from depths of 1.5–2.5 meters, contributing to their drought tolerance and reducing susceptibility to lodging and stem breakage. The hybrid's yield potential, when all agronomic requirements are met, reaches 52–53 centners per hectare, at a recommended seeding rate of 60,000 seeds per hectare. Average yields from trials conducted in 2016 and 2017 amounted to approximately 40 centners per hectare. Thanks to its combination of high productivity, disease and stress resistance, and favorable morphological traits, Sillouet sunflower is a reliable choice for efficient and stable production.
