Sunflower Sikllos CL

Sikllos CL sunflower is a medium-early hybrid with a maturity period of 110-115 days, exhibiting high adaptability to various soil-climate conditions. This simple hybrid features rapid growth and high drought tolerance, ensuring stable growth and high yield even under challenging conditions. Plant height is above average, and resistance to lodging contributes to maintaining crop quality.

Sikllos CL shows high tolerance to a broad spectrum of diseases, including fusarium, fusariosis, false powdery mildew, rust, gray and white mold. Disease resistance is rated highly, significantly reducing the risk of yield loss and minimizing the need for intensive chemical protection. The hybrid is also compatible with the Clearfield herbicide protection system, facilitating weed control.

Recommended planting density varies depending on the growing region: for forest-steppe — 48-52 thousand plants per hectare, for steppe — 45-50 thousand, for southern steppe — 35-40 thousand plants per hectare. Oil content in seeds is 51-54%, making Sikllos CL attractive for oilseed production. Due to its resistance to pests and diseases, as well as adaptability to northern regions of Russia, this hybrid is a reliable choice for farmers seeking high and stable yields.
