SANMARIN 410 is an intensive type sunflower hybrid, characterized by early maturity and a quick start in the initial development phases. The plants are of medium height, about 160-170 cm, with heart-shaped leaves and a slightly convex head measuring 18-20 cm in diameter, which has a slight tilt. The seeds are oval-elongated in shape, black in color without mottling, and feature high oil content ranging from 41.8% to 52%, ensuring high food and industrial value for the harvest. The vegetative period is about 110 days, allowing the hybrid to be successfully grown in various climatic conditions.
The hybrid is distinguished by high resistance to diseases and stress factors. It is resistant to 7 races of downy mildew (A-G), as well as showing high resistance to fusarium, rust, downy mildew, gray and white mold. Additionally, SANMARIN 410 exhibits high resistance to drought, lodging, and seed shattering, which significantly increases yield stability. The seeds are treated with fungicidal and insecticidal treatments, providing additional protection against diseases and pests.
The hybrid is adapted for growing in all sunflower zones and is recommended for intensive cultivation technologies with adherence to crop rotation and weed control. It is resistant to imidazolinone herbicides (EuroLighting/Clearfield technology), which facilitates weed control and increases the effectiveness of agrotechnical measures. The hybrid's yield potential reaches 55 c/ha, while the average yield in trials is 34-37 c/ha, making SANMARIN 410 a profitable choice for agricultural producers seeking high and stable yields.
