The plants are of semi-dwarf type, low-growing, reaching a height of 135 to 150 cm, while the disk diameter is about 20 cm. The mass of 1000 seeds is 68 grams, indicating a good seed size. The hybrid is characterized by high oil content in the seeds — 48-50%, while the oleic acid content in the oil reaches 70-75%, making the oil higher quality and more beneficial.

One of the key advantages of SANMARIN 444 is its high resistance to various diseases and adverse conditions. The hybrid demonstrates resistance to rust (with a rating of A-E), downy mildew, rust, sclerotinia, phoma, and phomopsis, which significantly reduces the risk of crop losses. Moreover, the plant has high resistance to lodging and drought, allowing it to be successfully grown in areas with insufficient moisture.

SANMARIN 444 demonstrates high yield potential — up to 4.8 tons per hectare, which is 10-15% higher compared to ordinary varieties. The recommended sowing density depends on moisture conditions: 65-70 thousand plants per hectare in areas with sufficient moisture and 60-65 thousand in areas with insufficient moisture. Thanks to its characteristics and adaptability, this hybrid is suitable for cultivation in various climatic zones and is a profitable choice for farmers aiming to obtain high-quality and high-yield sunflower crops.
