Sunflower hybrid 2343 IMI is a medium-early, simple, intensive-type hybrid developed with consideration of resistance to imidazolinone group (IMI) herbicides. It is characterized by high plasticity and is adapted to cultivation under various soil-climatic conditions, making it a universal choice for regions with different agroclimatic features. The vegetation period of the hybrid is 110-113 days, and plant height reaches 160-165 cm. The sunflower head is slightly convex, semi-tilted, with a diameter of 20-22 cm, and contains high oil content — 48-50%.

Hybrid 2343 IMI is characterized by high heat and drought resistance, ensuring stable yield even under adverse weather conditions. It possesses very high resistance to lodging and shattering, as well as high tolerance to major sunflower diseases, including fomosis, fomopsis, rust, false powdery mildew, gray and white rot. Yield potential reaches up to 5.0 t/ha, with average yield over test years reaching 3.6 t/ha.

The recommended planting density for hybrid 2343 IMI varies depending on the cultivation zone: 55-60 thousand plants per hectare for forest-steppe regions, and 50-55 thousand plants per hectare for steppe regions.
