Sunflower L 36

Consistent Yield: L 36 Sunflower from Melkom Agro

In the sunflower seed market, Russian selection remains strong due to its adaptability to local climatic conditions. The L 36 model, developed by Melkom Agro, represents the result of selection efforts aimed at ensuring high oil content while maintaining resilience to abiotic stresses.

Key Indicators and Selection Profile

This variety is aimed at agricultural enterprises for which the yield of commercial oil per hectare is a critical performance indicator. The main characteristics of the product include:

• Oil content in seeds: 45–50%, which meets modern industry standards for high-oil varieties.
• Origin: A selection product adapted to the soil and climatic conditions of the growing regions.
• Originator: Melkom Agro, which monitors the entire seed production cycle.

L 36 has established itself as an effective tool for farms operating in moderate moisture zones. Its popularity is due to the combination of simplicity in cultivation and predictable yields. Unlike complex foreign hybrids that require strict adherence to protection protocols, this variety shows a more flexible response to growing conditions, making it sought after by producers.

Why Choose L 36?

The market niche of this variety is economic efficiency. Melkom Agro focuses on obtaining a stable harvest with high quality indicators for the processing industry. The high oil content makes L 36 attractive to oil extraction plants, which simplifies the search for sales channels.

The use of this variety is advisable in areas where a crop capable of withstanding short periods of drought without critical loss of seed quality is needed. L 36 is a choice in favor of proven genetics that provide predictable results when basic agronomic recommendations are followed.
