SANMARIN 432 is a high-oil sunflower hybrid characterized by early maturity and a classic plant type. It is distinguished by high yield and high oil content in the seeds, which on average reaches about 48.8%, with maximum values up to 56.3%. A feature of the hybrid is the increased content of oleic acid, varying from 37.0% to 67.0%, which improves oil quality. The plants are tall, reaching about 170 cm, without branching and with medium or strong pubescence of the upper part of the stem. Seeds have an oval-elongated or oblong-ovate shape, the main color is black with possible weak striping.
The SANMARIN 432 hybrid has resistance to shattering, lodging, and drought, which makes it suitable for cultivation in various climatic conditions. It is recommended for cultivation in the regions of the North Caucasus, Middle Volga, Lower Volga, Ural, as well as East Kazakhstan and Akimolsk regions. The vegetative period is about 110-113 days, which corresponds to medium maturity. The sunflower head is of medium size, concave, 22-25 cm in diameter, turned downward, with large yellow ray florets.
The yield of the hybrid varies in different regions, reaching on average from 11.7 to 35.3 centners per hectare, which significantly exceeds standards. The mass of 1000 seeds is about 64.9 grams, and the mass of seeds from one head is approximately 102 grams. The average fat content in the seeds according to some data is 43.2%, which ensures high oil yield - up to 1342 kg per hectare. The hybrid shows medium resistance to some diseases, such as dodder and phomopsis, especially in the North Caucasus region. The manufacturer and originator of the hybrid is OOO "Russian Hybrid Industry".
