DREAM is a mid-early sunflower hybrid possessing classic characteristics and intended for cultivation in the North Caucasus region. It demonstrates stable yield, averaging 21.4 centners per hectare, with oil content in seeds reaching approximately 46.5%. The optimal plant density at harvest is 50-55 thousand per hectare, which promotes efficient area utilization and maximum harvest collection.
The hybrid is distinguished by high resistance to various diseases and adverse weather conditions. It is tolerant to sulfonylurea herbicides and exhibits resistance to sunflower rust races A-G. Plants reach a height of about 185 cm, have a head diameter of 23 cm with a 45° lean, which promotes good seed development and collection. Seed oiliness reaches 52%, making this hybrid attractive for high-quality oil production.
The cultivation technology for DREAM involves the use of Granstar herbicides, which facilitates weed control and enhances agronomic efficiency. The hybrid tolerates dry conditions well, allowing for high yields even in extreme climatic situations. Recommended growing zones include steppe and forest-steppe regions, where DREAM demonstrates its best qualities and ensures stable and high yields.
