Sanluca RM

Sanluca RM — an early-maturing hybrid sunflower of extensive type, developed for universal cultivation in various regions of Ukraine, except very arid areas. Plants reach a height of 160-170 cm and have a vegetation period of 90-105 days. The hybrid is characterized by high initial growth energy and early flowering, which ensures resistance to environmental stress and contributes to stable high yields with potential up to 45 centners/ha.

One of the key features of Sanluca RM is its high resistance to major diseases and pests. The hybrid is resistant to downy mildew (Phytophthora) races A-E, as well as to diseases such as fusarium, peronosporosis, and white mold. Disease resistance is rated at 9 points, lodging and drought resistance — 8 points each, making it a reliable choice for cultivation under various climatic conditions.

Sanluca RM is characterized by high oil content in seeds — 47-50%, with high oleic acid content, enhancing oil quality. Recommended planting density varies by region: 40-45 thousand plants per hectare for the Azov region and Southern Steppe, and 50-55 thousand for Polissia, Steppe, and Forest-Steppe. The hybrid is suitable for traditional cultivation methods and is adaptable to various soils and weather conditions, ensuring stable profitability and high yields.
