Sunflower Milan is a modern hybrid currently undergoing state variety testing and already demonstrating high yields. Plants reach a height of 120–140 cm under adequate moisture, with a vegetation period of 95–100 days. The hybrid exhibits moderate growth intensity in early stages, a slender stem, and leafiness of 26–28 leaves. The sunflower head is flat, medium-thick, positioned at an angle of 140–160 degrees, and contains a large number of seeds — 950 to 1000. Seed oil content is 22–24%. Milan is characterized by high oil content — 49 to 52% — making it especially valuable for oilseed applications. Yield potential reaches 4.5 t/ha, equivalent to over 45 centners per hectare. The hybrid is early-maturing and recommended for cultivation in the forest-steppe zone. It is resistant to various diseases and stress factors, ensuring stable yields even under adverse conditions. Registration year: 2014. Sunflower Milan is noted for its plasticity and easy adaptation to different climatic conditions and agronomic practices. It is resistant to fusarium and hot growing conditions, broadening its cultivation potential. Thanks to these qualities, the hybrid combines high productivity and reliability, making it an attractive choice for farmers focused on obtaining high-quality, high-yield oilseed raw material.
