ES SIMBA is an early-maturing, simple sunflower hybrid of the moderately intensive type, characterized by high plasticity to various growing conditions. It withstands drought well and is distinguished by high resistance to low stress temperatures, making it a reliable choice for various climatic zones. Plants reach a height of about 157 cm, and the vegetation period ranges from 90 to 105 days, allowing for a quick harvest.
The hybrid is characterized by a large, correctly shaped head with a diameter of 23 cm, completely filled with seeds, which contributes to a high yield potential of up to 40 c/ha. The mass of 1000 seeds is 63 grams, and the oil content in the seeds reaches 49%, making ES SIMBA attractive for the production of oil products. The energy of initial growth is 9, ensuring good plant development at the initial stages of vegetation.
ES SIMBA possesses high tolerance to most common sunflower diseases, including excellent resistance to downy mildew. Recommended growing zones include the Polesie, Forest-Steppe, and Steppe regions of Ukraine, confirming the universality and adaptability of this hybrid to various soil and climatic conditions.
