Mirniy

Sunflower Mirniy is a versatile early-maturing variety with a vegetation period of 90-95 days, characterized by high adaptability and resistance to various diseases. It exhibits tolerance to false powdery mildew, comprehensive resistance to rot, all known races of downy mildew, as well as field resistance to frogepsis. Thanks to its strong and branched root system, the plant is well-adapted to extreme growing conditions, including drought, and is not prone to lodging or shattering, which helps maintain yield under adverse conditions.

The Mirniy hybrid shows stable resistance to aggressive races of downy mildew (A-G) and is compatible with Clearfield herbicide system seed treatments, enabling effective weed control and clean crops. The hybrid seeds are versatile and suitable for both zero-tillage and conventional cultivation technologies. The plant demonstrates high productivity with maximum yields up to 5.2 t/ha and average yields around 3.6 t/ha, and it responds well to mineral fertilizer application, which can increase yield by 0.5-0.7 t/ha.

Sunflower Mirniy has a strong stem height of 120-140 cm, resistant to lodging, and high oil content in seeds ranging from 49-52% with shell breaking 21-23%. The variety is suitable for fall sowing and demonstrates good technological performance. Additionally, it is an excellent honey producer, expanding its application in agricultural systems. Due to its characteristics and disease resistance, the Mirniy variety is a reliable choice for cultivation under various climatic and soil conditions.
