Sunflower Millennium

MILLENNIUM — a mid-season sunflower (Helianthus annuus L.) hybrid with a vegetative period of approximately 110-117 days. It is characterized by high seed oil content, reaching approximately 49.7%, which ensures oil yield at the level of 15.8 centners per hectare. The 1000-seed weight is approximately 59.8 g, indicating good seed material quality. The hybrid is recommended for cultivation in the Central Chernozem region, particularly in the Lipetsk region, where average yield reaches 35.2 centners per hectare.

MILLENNIUM exhibits high resistance to ragweed (groups A-H), significantly reducing the risk of yield losses due to this parasitic plant. Additionally, the hybrid shows good resistance to drought and various diseases, making it a reliable choice for cultivation under conditions of insufficient moisture. The recommended seeding density varies depending on soil moisture levels and ranges from 55 to 60 thousand plants per hectare.

This sunflower hybrid is suitable for modern farming technologies, including systems using herbicides such as Evrolighting Plus and Clearfield, which simplify crop management and increase production efficiency. Thanks to its agronomic characteristics and adaptability, MILLENNIUM is a promising choice for farmers aiming to achieve stable and high yields of oil crops.
