Sunflower Myroslav

Betting on an Ultra-Early Harvest

In the face of unpredictable climate conditions and moisture deficits, farmers are increasingly opting for early-maturing sunflower hybrids. The «Miroslav» hybrid from AF Sady Ukrainy is designed for those who aim to minimize production risks and clear their fields before the onset of autumn rains.

Key Advantages

• Vegetation period: 90-100 days. This is one of the shortest life cycles in the segment, allowing for early harvest while maintaining high grain quality.
• Phytosanitary Shield: Robust genetic resistance to a range of diseases, including white rot, gray rot, downy mildew, phomopsis, and phoma, significantly reduces the need for expensive fungicide applications, which is essential for profitability.

Who is this hybrid for?

«Miroslav» is an optimal choice for farms in risk-prone regions where a quick start and early maturity are critical. It fits perfectly into reseeding programs or planting schemes where winter crops are sown immediately after sunflower harvest. Unlike mid-season hybrids, «Miroslav» does not deplete soil moisture throughout the entire season, leaving more water available for the subsequent crop in the rotation.

It is important to note that ultra-early hybrids require strict adherence to agronomic practices, particularly regarding plant density and early-stage weed control, as the intensive growth rate demands consistent nutrient availability from the very beginning.
