Golfstream

Golfstream sunflower hybrid is a high-quality mid-early Ukrainian selection intended for conventional cultivation technology. The vegetation period lasts 106-110 days, and plant height reaches 150-170 cm. The hybrid features a fine head and a 1000-seed mass of 55-75 g. A key characteristic is its high oil content — from 47 to 50% — making it attractive for oilseed production.

Golfstream has a high yield potential up to 5.5 t/ha (55 centners/ha) and demonstrates excellent adaptation to various climatic conditions, including dry regions. Thanks to the Stay Green effect, plants retain green mass longer, which contributes to increased productivity even under stress and high temperatures. The recommended planting density varies from 40,000 to 55,000 plants per hectare depending on the growing zone.

The hybrid exhibits high resistance to a broad spectrum of diseases and pests, including resistance to various races of parasitic weed flax rust (7(A,B,C,D,E,F,G)), as well as to diseases such as rust, fusarium, fusarium wilt, alternaria, and sunflower moth.
