MAG 4215

MAG 4215 is a mid-early sunflower hybrid intended for cultivation in the North Caucasus and Ural regions, and also recommended for the Krasnodar Krai and Orenburg Region. It belongs to the simple first-generation hybrids and is characterized by green leaves and yellow disc flowers. The hybrid flowers early, which helps more efficient use in agronomic practices.

The hybrid is distinguished by high yield, reaching up to 54 centners per hectare, and high oil content — around 52%. The 1000-seed mass varies depending on the region and ranges from 39.8 to 51.5 grams. Plant height is 170-180 cm, ensuring good productivity and resistance to adverse conditions.

A distinctive feature of MAG 4215 is its high oleic acid content — up to 93%, making it a high-oleic oilseed sunflower. The hybrid is resistant to race A-N of downy mildew and gray mold, adapted to Clearfield® technology, which enables effective weed control and improved crop quality. Due to its earlier maturity (99-103 days), the hybrid is suitable for early harvest, late planting, and can be used as a cover crop, expanding its application potential in agriculture.
