Sunflower AT 0938 is a new high-yielding hybrid developed with modern agronomic technologies and resistant to various stress factors. It belongs to mid-early maturing varieties with plant height of about 170-175 cm and flower head diameter of 22-24 cm. The hybrid exhibits high herbicide resistance, including imidazolinone group (IMI) and tribenuron-methyl (SU) herbicides, allowing effective weed control with minimal damage to the crop. The cultivation technology involves applying Euro-Lightning and SUMO herbicides at a rate of 50 grams per hectare.

AT 0938 demonstrates stable yield and oil content even under drought and other adverse conditions. The yield potential ranges from 37.5 to 58 centners per hectare depending on climatic conditions and cultivation region. Seed oil content is in the range of 52-54%, ensuring high quality of the market product. The hybrid shows high resistance to diseases, including gray and white mold of the flower head, and also exhibits very high resistance to lodging and shattering, which helps preserve the harvest.

The recommended planting density varies depending on the cultivation zone: in the Forest Steppe, the optimal density is 60-65 thousand plants per hectare, in the Steppe — 50-55 thousand. Due to its genetic resistance to downy mildew and stress tolerance, AT 0938 is suitable for both extensive and intensive farming, ensuring a stable and high-quality sunflower harvest with high oil content.
