PH 1023 B — a new sunflower hybrid developed by breeders of LLC "AF NPP AGROMIR" and submitted for state testing in 2024. This mid-early hybrid features plant height of 170–175 cm and high oil content in seeds — around 52%. The yield potential of PH 1023 B reaches 47 centners per hectare, confirmed by test results in the Forest-Steppe zone, where under extremely dry conditions, the average yield was 37.5 centners per hectare. The hybrid exhibits high resistance to lodging, shattering, and drought, as well as excellent resistance to diseases such as gray and white mold, scoring 9 out of 10 on the resistance scale. A distinctive feature of PH 1023 B is its resistance to granular stress and adaptation to SUMO technology with herbicides containing tribenuron-methyl, enabling effective weed control at a rate of 50 grams per hectare. The recommended plant density at harvest varies depending on the growing zone: 60–65 thousand plants per hectare in the Forest-Steppe zone, and 50–55 thousand in the Steppe zone. Such agronomic practices maximize the hybrid’s potential and ensure stable high yields even under challenging climatic conditions. PH 1023 B is intended for cultivation in various agroclimatic zones with moderate and dry regimes, making it a versatile choice for farmers aiming to obtain high-quality, high-oil sunflower yields. High resistance to stresses and diseases, along with adaptation to modern plant protection technologies, ensure reliability and economic efficiency of production.
