Mag 4213 is a medium-early sunflower hybrid with an intensive growth type, early flowering, and uniform maturity. The vegetation period is approximately 106-114 days, making it suitable for early harvest. Plants have medium height, green leaf color, and no branching. Seeds are characterized by yellow corolla color and an average 1000-seed weight of about 51 grams. The hybrid exhibits weak leaf puckering and weakly expressed marginal stripes on seeds. One of the key advantages of the Mag 4213 hybrid is its high resistance to diseases, including false powdery mildew (FPM) and rust, as well as low susceptibility to dry rot in field conditions. The hybrid is tolerant to the herbicide Express at a rate of 50 g/ha, facilitating crop management. Additionally, it demonstrates good cold tolerance, excellent water shedding, and drought resistance, making it suitable for cultivation in regions with adverse weather conditions and on low-fertility soils. Mag 4213 exhibits high productivity — in the North Caucasus region, average yield reaches 26.9 centners per hectare, with maximum yields up to 54 centners per hectare. Oil content in seeds ranges from 49% to 53%, and the hybrid is characterized by high oleic acid content, reaching 93%, which enhances oil quality. The recommended plant density at harvest is up to 55,000 plants per hectare, promoting maximum area utilization and increased productivity.
