Sunflower AS Rapid

Efficient Production with the Clearfield System

For growers looking to balance high yield potential with effective field management, the "AS Rapid" sunflower hybrid from "Naukovo-vyrobnyche Pidpryiemstvo Ukra" provides a robust solution. Designed specifically for the Clearfield (Euro-Lightning) production system, this hybrid allows farmers to manage weed pressure effectively while maintaining high oil content.

Key Agronomic Benefits

"AS Rapid" is engineered to provide both performance and security. By integrating herbicide tolerance with a strong defensive package against common pathogens, it simplifies the management of challenging fields.

• High Oil Content: With a seed oil content of 50-55%, this hybrid is an excellent choice for maximizing profitability at the processor level.
• Pathogen Resistance: Genetic resistance to white rot, gray rot, downy mildew, Phomopsis, and Phoma reduces the need for heavy fungicide programs.
• Growth Characteristics: Reaching a height of 170-190 cm, the plants are well-suited for standard mechanical harvesting.

Why Choose AS Rapid?

This is a simple hybrid, which ensures excellent uniformity across the field. This uniformity is crucial for consistent maturation, allowing for a more predictable harvest window and better combine efficiency. The 110-120 day maturity cycle makes it a versatile option across varying soil and climate conditions found in Ukraine. For farmers dealing with competitive weed pressure or those looking for a reliable, easy-to-manage crop that delivers on quality, "AS Rapid" offers a balanced approach. It is a practical choice for those who prioritize efficiency, weed control, and high-quality oil production.
