Sunflower 1082 ST

Agronomic Potential of «1082 ST»

The breeding program of NPO "Galaktika" in the sunflower segment focuses on creating highly technological solutions for farms with short growing seasons. The "1082 ST" model is a simple hybrid developed with physiological adaptability to stress conditions in mind.

Morphology and Vegetation

The key advantage of this hybrid is its early maturity. With a growing season of 90–100 days, the crop allows for efficient harvest planning, avoiding peak risks of late rainfall or early frosts. The plant height of 120–130 cm makes the hybrid convenient for mechanized harvesting, ensuring optimal combine throughput without excessive green biomass.

Seed Material Characteristics

The seed fraction of the hybrid is characterized by gray-striped coloring and a narrow-ovate shape. The medium size of the seeds contributes to the stable operation of precision seeders, which is critical for uniform emergence. The technically verified geometry of the seed minimizes the likelihood of "doubles" or skips during the calibration of the seed disc.

Why this hybrid is effective in the field

• Balanced Growth: The limited stem height promotes high lodging resistance, which is critical for regions with strong winds.
• Germination Energy: The genetic architecture of the hybrid ensures uniform emergence even under conditions of moderate soil moisture deficit.
• Harvesting Efficiency: The compact plant habit simplifies the operation of headers, reducing losses during threshing.

NPO "Galaktika" positions "1082 ST" as a reliable solution for intensive farming, where high turnover of cultivated land is important due to the short maturation period.
