Sunflower GRANDES

The hybrid sunflower GRANDES is a mid-early simple hybrid with a vegetation period of 105-110 days, developed for cultivation in steppe and forest-steppe regions with limited rainfall. Plants reach a height of 160-185 cm and have a semi-tilted flower head with a diameter of 18-22 cm. The hybrid is characterized by high oil content in seeds — from 47 to 51%, with a test weight of 21-24%, ensuring high processing efficiency and production of high-quality oil.

GRANDES exhibits high resistance to various diseases and stress factors. It is resistant to downy mildew (all decodes A-G), false powdery mildew, and shows moderate resistance to white mold. Additionally, the hybrid demonstrates high drought and winter hardiness, making it a reliable choice for regions with variable climatic conditions. Resistance to diseases such as black leg, peronosporosis, fomopsis, rust, and gray mold is also at a high level, contributing to stable yields.

The recommended planting density varies depending on soil moisture levels: 45-50 thousand plants per hectare in areas with insufficient moisture, up to 55-60 thousand in areas with adequate moisture. The hybrid is adapted for use with Clearfield®, SUMO, and EXPRESS SUN technologies, allowing effective herbicide application and high protection levels for crops. The yield potential of GRANDES reaches 55 centners per hectare, confirmed by successful cultivation in the Central Chernozem region and other areas with similar climatic conditions.
