ES ARGENTIC — medium-early high-oleic sunflower hybrid, belonging to the medium-maturing group with a vegetative period of about 110–115 days. It is characterized by high seed yield and high oil content — 48–49%, with oleic acid content in the oil reaching 90–91%. Plants reach a height of 165–175 cm, have a head diameter of 21–23 cm with slight inclination at maturity. The hybrid's stem is strong and lightweight, with a well-branched root system, contributing to resistance to adverse growing conditions. The ES ARGENTIC hybrid exhibits high resistance to common sunflower diseases, including false powdery mildew, rust, head and stem sclerotinia, fomopsis, anthracnose, and verticillium. It also possesses high genetic resistance to most known forms and strains of the sunflower moth. The hybrid is not prone to lodging or premature seed drop, tolerates water deficit well, and maintains productivity on weed-infested fields. Due to its dual herbicide resistance, ES ARGENTIC is suitable for modern plant protection technologies. Recommended for cultivation in various soil-climate zones of Ukraine, including the Forest-Steppe, Northern Steppe, Polissia, and Steppe regions. To achieve maximum productivity, the "Express" technology is recommended, including application of boron and nitrogen-containing products during the 4–10 true leaf stage, as well as disease protection using carbendazim-based products. For pest control, chlorpyrifos and cypermethrin-based products are effective, and for weed control — herbicides with isopropylamine salt of glyphosate. Seeding rate varies by region and ranges from 40,000 to 60,000 seeds per hectare.
